What promotions does Chase have right now? Find out how much you can earn and how to qualify for the latest Chase bank promotions.

Chase Bank is the biggest bank in the U.S., with more than $3.7 trillion in assets and 4,700+ branches across the country.

Chase offers a wide variety of banking products, and their streamlined mobile app gives you easy access to all your accounts. Naturally, it's one of the first banks many people think of when it's time to open a bank account.

Of course, one of the biggest perks of joining a traditional bank is the big bonus offers. Learn more about the current Chase new account bonuses. Plus, check out the pros and cons of each account below.

Chase Total Checking: $200 Bonus

Chase Total Checking is the most popular Chase checking account. It's a good choice if you're looking for basic, no-frills checking.

The account doesn't earn interest or have a ton of extra features. But the $200 bonus for new accounts is worth checking out.

There is a $12 monthly fee, but it's pretty easy to waive it. For instance, you just need to make $500 in electronic deposits each month. For a reliable checking account at one of the biggest banks, this is a solid choice to consider.

The account has a lower fee of $4.95 per month. You can't waive this fee, but it comes with extra perks. There are zero fees for overdrafts, money orders, and cashier's checks. Plus, the $100 welcome bonus for new accounts helps offset the monthly fee.

Chase Business Complete Banking: $300 Bonus

The $300 Chase Business Complete Banking bonus is a great value for small business owners. The checking account comes with built-in credit card processing, so you don't have to sign up for an extra service.

Requirements for the bonus are a little more complicated than they are for personal Chase checking accounts. But it's still relatively easy to get. Just deposit at least $2,000 within 30 days of opening your account and keep that balance for 60 days. Then, make 5 transactions by the 90th day.

The account has a $15 monthly fee, which is not bad for what you're getting. But there are also 5 different ways you can waive the fee completely. One of the easiest ways to waive the fee is to keep a $2,000 daily balance in your account.

Best Investment Account Bonus

Open an investment account with J.P. Morgan and get rewarded with a new account bonus.

J.P. Morgan Self-Directed Investing: Up to $625 Bonus

The J.P. Morgan Self-Directed Investment account offers the biggest bonus right now. You can earn up to $625 when you open an account, but keep in mind this is a tiered bonus. The more you deposit to your account, the more you'll earn.

Here's how much you'll receive with each tier:

  • Deposit $25,000-$99,999 → $125 bonus
  • Deposit $100,000-$249,999 → $300 bonus
  • Deposit $250,000 or more → $625 bonus

The deposit needed to get the highest bonus is pretty steep, but it's one of the biggest bonuses seen to date. The $125 bonus for the lowest tier is still a nice sum, and a lot easier to attain.

If you're looking for a simple and convenient investing platform, this is a solid choice. And there's no better way to try it out than with a huge welcome bonus.

FAQs About Chase Bank Offers

Are sign-up bonuses from Chase Bank taxed?
The cash welcome bonuses you receive upon opening a bank account or credit card are taxable income. The bonus counts as interest income issued by your bank, and you'll have to report it to the IRS at tax time.[1]

If you take advantage of a Chase bonus, expect to receive a Form 1099-INT at the end of the year.[2]

How do I check my Chase bonus?
Most Chase bonuses post within 15 days of completing all the requirements. If you've done all the necessary steps, you should find your bonus amount in your account by that time.

If the bonus isn't showing up on your account, you can give Chase customer service a call at 1-800-935-9935.

Does Chase Bank have a sign-on bonus?
Chase Bank usually has multiple bonus offers going on at any given time. If you don't qualify for one bonus, there's a good chance you'll be able to find another that fits your needs.

How long does it take to get paid a bonus from Chase?
You'll receive most Chase checking account bonuses within 15 days of meeting all the requirements. Other bonuses might take longer. The Chase referral bonus posts to your account within 30 days of completing requirements.

Chase credit card bonuses take the longest to pay out. Bonus points can take 6 to 8 weeks to reflect on your account.

Once your friend opens an account through your referral link, you can expect to get paid within 30 days. Your bonus will automatically post to your Chase checking account.

Chase referral links last 6 months from the time the link is generated. During this time, you can send it out to as many friends as you'd like. But keep in mind that you can only earn up to 10 referral bonuses a year.

After 6 months, the link expires. You'll have to generate a new link to continue referring people.

Do Chase Offers expire?

Can Chase Offers be used multiple times?
Every Chase Offer is different. Some can be used multiple times until the deal expires. Others can be used one time only. Check the fine print of the offer to see what the specific terms are.

How do I get more offers from Chase?
If you subscribe to Chase emails, you'll receive an update each time there's a new batch of offers available to you. Chase Offers update pretty frequently, so check back every week or two to find the latest deals.

Bottom Line: Which Chase Bonus is Best for You?

No matter what type of bank account you're looking to open, Chase probably offers a sign-up bonus for it. Be sure to check whether you qualify for the account and the bonus before signing up.

Remember: Avoid simply choosing the highest bonus you can find. The account you sign up for needs to suit your financial situation. If you're not able to waive the monthly fee for an account, for example, it might not be the best idea to sign up for it—even if the bonus is tempting.

Before you sign up for any account, be sure to compare all your options and do your research. Check out our full Chase review to learn more.
