Chime is a popular fintech company with no physical branches. But how do you access your money? Keep reading to find out.

Does Chime Have Physical Locations?

Chime has no physical branches or locations. But you can still access your money through its widespread ATM network and top-rated mobile banking app.

Chime ATM Locations

Chime users are given access to over 60,000 fee-free ATMs. This includes MoneyPass ATMs in 7-Eleven, Allpoint, and Visa Plus Alliance ATMs.

You can also find these in-network ATMs at popular stores like Walgreens, Target, Circle K, and CVS Pharmacy.

Check out this ATM finder or use the Chime app to discover ATMs near you!

Chime Mobile Banking

Chime offers a highly-rated mobile app that's a convenient platform for your banking needs. With the Chime app, you can access the following features wherever and whenever you want:

  • Send and receive money
  • Check your balance
  • Set and receive alerts
  • Track and pay bills
  • Find an ATM
  • Set up direct deposit
  • Make a mobile check deposit
  • Use mobile payment platforms

Thus, you can easily manage your account, even without going to a physical branch.

Is Chime a bank?
Chime is not a bank, but it works with regional banks to provide banking products and services. At present, they are partners with The Bancorp Bank, NA, and Stride Bank, NA.

Apart from the means mentioned in the bullet points, you might ask, are there other ways to fund your account?

How do I fund my Chime account?

There are multiple ways you can fund your Chime account, such as external bank transfer, mobile check deposit, check deposit, and cash deposit.

You can deposit cash for free at over 8,500 Walgreens nationwide. Or you can add money at 75,000+ stores like Walmart, CVS, 7-Eleven, and more, potentially for a small fee.[1]

All you need to do is go to the cashier, hand them your money, and present your Chime Visa debit card or show your barcode using the Chime app. They will be the ones to process the deposit for you.

Your funds should be available within a few minutes, but in some cases, it can take up to 2 hours.

Encounter any issues? You can reach out to Chime's support team.

How do you typically deposit money into your Chime account?

  • 24/7 chat via the Chime mobile app

Keep in mind that you can only use Chime's live chat feature on the app, not the website.

What feature do you value most in Chime's services?

Bottom Line

Chime stands out as a leading neo-bank, even without traditional branches. They provide excellent banking products and services through a user-friendly mobile app and a wide network of ATMs.

With Chime, accessing your funds and managing your account is hassle-free and convenient. But if having a physical location is your priority for a bank, you can check out apps like Chime or national banks instead.
