How to Order Checks Online From Chase

Ordering online is the easiest way to get new checks. The process is different for personal or business checks. Read on to get started.

Ordering Personal Checks
Some Chase accounts offer fee-free checks while others charge a small fee (more on that below). Here's what you'll need to do:

  1. Log into the Chase online bank platform with your user ID and password

  2. Head to the Things You Can Do menu

  3. Select Order Checks & Deposit Slips

  4. Choose the checks you'd like

  5. Personalize the checks with your information

You might have to disable your pop-up blocker when ordering checks online. Make sure to do so before starting the process.

Business Checks
Visit Deluxe to order Chase business account checks. Here's what to do:

  1. Enter your routing number, account number, and zip code

  2. Choose the checks you'd like

  3. Personalize with your business' information

Chase Temporary Checks
Counter checks are temporary checks that can be printed at select Chase branches. You'll pay $2 for a sheet of three checks.

Make sure to call ahead first to see if your Chase branch has temporary checks available. And remember, some merchants won't accept them because of the fraud risk.

Other Ways to Order Chase Checks

  • Visit A Branch
Stop into one of Chase's more than 4,700 bank locations nationwide to order business or personal checks.

  • Call Customer Service
Dial 1-888-560-3939 to order Chase checks by phone.

In both cases, a customer service representative will guide you through the process. Have your routing and account numbers handy to confirm which account you'll be ordering checks for.

You cannot order checks from the Chase mobile app.

Does Chase charge for checks?

A box of 100 basic Chase checks costs $20. But you can choose from a variety of design styles for an extra $5 or more. Duplicate checks will also cost a few more dollars per box. But the price per box drops the more you order.

Your checking account will be debited for the order total after you've completed the process. Standard delivery for checks takes 10–14 days. Some products have expedited shipping for an added fee.

Can I get free checks from Chase?
Certain Chase accounts, like the Chase Private Client, offer free or cheaper checks as a perk. Visit the Chase site for more information and to check out your options.

How to Customize Your Chase Checks

You can personalize and add enhancements to your checks before purchase. Keep reading to learn how.

Check Design
The check design you select determines the images and colors that appear on your checks. Here are the categories:

  • High Security
  • Animals
  • Charitable
  • Classic Characters
  • Classical
  • Contemporary
  • Disney
  • Floral & Nature
  • Guideline
  • Mini-Paks
  • Recycled Paper
  • Scenic
  • Sports & Leisure
  • Top Stub/End Stub
  • Warner Brothers

Personalized Text
Each check will have your personal information on the top left-hand corner. You'll need to add this information when you order.

Here's what you can have imprinted on your checks:

  • Name
  • Address
  • Home phone
  • Work phone
  • Business name
  • Miscellaneous line

Changing your address on checks won't affect the address on your Chase account. If you need to update your address, you'll need to head to Profile & Settings on Chase's online banking platform.

Enhancements
Chase offers select enhancements to your checks. Here's what you can do:

  • Add a symbol or monogram in the upper left corner

  • Choose a background symbol as a shadow in the background of the check

  • Alter the font or lettering for your personal info

  • Add a message or byline above the signature

Extras
In addition to your checks, you can order items such as:

  • Leather checkbook covers
  • Labels
  • Debit card covers
  • Debit card registers
  • Name and address stamps
  • Checkbook registers

Chase checking accounts offer a variety of features to suit just about any need. And you can start an account on their website in just a few minutes.

To sign up for a Chase checking account online, you'll need your:

  • Social Security number
  • Driver's license or state ID
  • Citizenship status
  • Address
  • Email address
  • Phone number

Bottom Line

Chase offers several ways to order checks. The easiest method is making an order online through their website. You'll be able to customize your checks and purchase additional accessories to keep better track of your finances.
