These are the best ways of watching the Hallmark channel online. In this article, we list the providers that offer this service.

HALLMARK CHANNEL EVERYWHERE

The Hallmark Channel has an app which allows you to watch many of the network's original content. It's called the "Hallmark Channel Everywhere."

It's compatible with PC, iOS, Android, Apple TV and Roku devices.

The catch? You'll need to login with a TV provider account.

Tip: DIRECTV and DISH are TV providers accepted by the app.

Also, it won't have the same shows as your TV provider, but it comes close. You'll be able to access full episodes of select shows and movies.

HALLMARK MOVIES NOW

Unlike the Hallmark Channel Everywhere app, Hallmark Movies Now is a standalone service. This means you won't need a TV provider to use it. It's like Netflix, which offers content on-demand.

It features movies, series, and specials from the Hallmark Channel. It also has additional picks from their content library.

You can either subscribe monthly or annually. For a single account, you can activate up to five devices.

Hallmark Movies Now works with Roku, Apple TV, Fire TV, Android TVs, Samsung and Sony smart TVs, Blu-Ray players, Xbox One, iOS, Android, and Chromecast.

Still, if you prefer regular Hallmark channels, we've listed TV providers who offer them below.

DIRECTV

DIRECTV has two Hallmark channels: Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.

Their channel split is a bit odd. You'll get the Hallmark Channel on all of DIRECTV's packages. But Hallmark Movies & Mysteries is available only on the lower-tiered Select and Entertainment packages. It then skips the Choice, Xtra, and Ultimate packages… before reappearing on the highest Premier package.

If you only want the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries channel, you'd have to go for the lower-tiered packages. Or the biggest package there is—there's nothing in between.

That aside, it's a solid TV provider with lots of other channels. You may like similar channels like Lifetime and USA Network, which are available on all their packages.

Also, DIRECTV has its own app. You can use DIRECTV's app to stream the Hallmark channels on your smart devices too. The app also lets you stream your DVR recordings, or you can download them to watch offline.

DISH

If you're after all things Hallmark, then DISH is the better choice. It has both the Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies, and also Hallmark Drama.

All three channels are on the America's Top 200 packages and above. You may have to pay a bit more for these packages, but you'll also be getting more than 240+ channels. These include channels similar to Hallmark, like UP and Lifetime Movie Network.

Another DISH perk? No increased fees in the second year. Their fees are locked-in for two years, so you won't have to worry about paying extra in the future. Also, they have a great DVR system. It's capable of recording 16 channels at once and storing up to 500 hours of HD recordings.

Finally, like DIRECTV, DISH also has its own streaming app—the DISH Anywhere. It also streams channels to your devices and lets you watch your DVR recordings (online and offline).

ONLINE TV PROVIDERS

Sometimes, you just want to cut the cord, and not have to deal with contracts or expensive monthly fees. Here are some online TV providers who let you do just that.

SLING TV

Sling TV offers all three Hallmark channels: Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, and Hallmark Drama. It's also one of the cheapest options.

All three channels are part of the Lifestyle add-on. You can just sign up with their (cheaper) Orange package and add the Hallmark channels. This would still be cheaper than signing up with a cable or satellite TV.

The Lifestyle add-on also gives you channels like the Cooking Channel, DIY Network, Lifetime Movies, and others.

Sling TV has a Cloud DVR, with 50 hours of storage. It works with Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV and PCs and smartphones.

PLAYSTATION VUE

To get all three Hallmark channels with PlayStation Vue, you'll need to get their Elite bundle or higher. The Elite bundle has over 85 channels. This includes channels like Big Ten Network, Fusion, IFC, ESPN, SyFy and Discovery Family, among others.

PlayStation Vue works on Roku players, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Android TV, PC, iOS devices, and Google Chromecast. The PlayStation Vue also has a good Cloud DVR system. You can record any number of shows, although recordings are only kept for 28 days.

FUBOTV

Originally for soccer, FuboTV now also provides other sports channels and live TV. For all three Hallmark channels, you'd have to subscribe to Fubo Extra. You'll also get DIY Network, BBC World News, and Sony Movie Channel, among others.

FuboTV currently works with most smart devices, as well as Roku, Chromecast, and Apple TV.

For DVR, FuboTV gives you a Cloud DVR with 30 hours of recording with every package. You can upgrade this to their Cloud DVR Plus, which stores up to 500 hours of recording.

DIRECTV NOW

DIRECTV Now is DIRECTV's version of a streaming TV service. Like Sling TV and other online TV providers, there's no contract and no installation fees. You can start and stop the service anytime.

Just like DIRECTV, DIRECTV Now is missing the Hallmark Drama channel. But you can still get the Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries in its cheapest package (Live a Little). Strangely enough, the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries is not available in any of the higher tiers. You only get both at the cheapest bundle.

DIRECTV Now is compatible with Roku, Chromecast, Fire TV and Apple TV. They also have a Cloud DVR feature which records up to 20 hours a month.

BOTTOM LINE

If you're looking for just the Hallmark channels, streaming them online is your best bet. To get the most Hallmark content, you can subscribe to Sling TV with the Lifestyle add-on. That gives you all three Hallmark channels. Then you can decide whether you'd like to add the Hallmark Movies Now separately.

However, if you'd also like to watch other channels, then go with DISH. They offer more than 240 channels with the "America's Top 200" package, and they have a great DVR. You'll be able to enjoy all of Hallmark's core channels while recording shows from other favorite channels.
