Think a MasterCard is right for you? Whether you’re looking for great rewards, low interest rates, airline miles, or just a card to help build or rebuild your credit, MasterCard has one tailored for your needs. Here’s a look at the best MasterCard credit cards from our partners available:

MasterCard for Cash Back: Barclaycard CashForward World MasterCard

Barclaycard CashForward
Apply for Barclaycard CashForward World MasterCard
Barclaycard CashForward offers a $100 cash rewards bonus if you spend $500 on purchases within the first 90 days of opening your new account. This card earns an unlimited 1.5% cash rewards on every purchase. Plus, every time you redeem, you get a 5% cash rewards redemption bonus to use toward your next redemption. You can redeem your cash rewards for a deposit into your bank account, a statement credit, or gift cards. Redemptions start at $50. The cash rewards do not expire as long as you keep your account open, active, and in good standing. There is no annual fee.

Plus, there is a 0% intro APR for 15 months on balance transfers made within the first 45 days of account opening. After the introductory period, a variable APR applies, currently 14.99%, 19.99%, or 24.99% depending on your creditworthiness.

MasterCard for Travel: Barclaycard Arrival Plus World Elite MasterCard

Barclaycard Arrival Plus
Apply for Barclaycard Arrival Plus World Elite MasterCard
Barclaycard Arrival Plus offers 50,000 bonus miles if you spend $3,000 on purchases within the first 90 days of opening your new credit card account. 50,000 bonus miles is enough to redeem for a $500 travel statement credit. This card earns 2x miles on all purchases. And when you redeem, you get 5% miles back to use toward your next redemption, every time you redeem. There is no foreign transaction fee. There is a $89 annual fee (waived for the first year).

Plus, enjoy a 0% introductory APR for 12 months on balance transfers made within 45 days of account opening. After that, a variable APR will apply, 16.24%, 20.24% or 23.24%, based on your creditworthiness.

MasterCard for People with Bad Credit: Secured Card

First Progress Secured Credit Card
Apply for First Progress Platinum Elite MasterCard Secured Credit Card
First Progress Secured Credit Card reports to all 3 major credit bureaus to help establish your credit history. No credit history or minimum credit score is required for approval. This secured credit card's variable APR is 19.99%. The credit line is secured by a fully-refundable deposit of $200 - $2,000 submitted with application. Just pay off your balance and receive your deposit back at any time. There is a $29 annual fee.

If you need to establish or repair your credit history, this card is a great option. The $29 annual fee is on the low end of the secured credit card price range, and your payment history will be reported every month to all three major credit bureaus. That’s good news – the faster you can establish a pattern of good credit behavior, the faster your credit score will be on the mend.

Choose this card if you plan to pay your balance in full each month. But if you think you’ll need to carry over balances, look at the Platinum Select or Platinum Prestige versions of this card. The Select charges a $39 annual fee, and the Prestige’s annual fee is a bit more, at $44. The main difference between the three cards is the minimum variable APR (which gets lower as the annual fee gets higher). The higher annual fee will be worth the cost for the potentially lower interest rate if you don’t plan on paying your bill in full each month since compound interest on balances will add up quickly and could potentially surpass the amount of the differences in the annual fees in a month or two.

Research carefully before selecting a credit card. There’s no point in selecting a card that accumulates airline miles if you don’t often fly, and you don’t want to pay the annual fee for a secured credit card if you can qualify for an unsecured $0 fee card. Make sure you fully understand the positives and negatives of all your options before you make your decision.
