The CHOICE package brings more variety in terms of channels. It's got about 30 more channels than the ENTERTAINMENT package. It's also the first package where you get the NFL Sunday Ticket for free, making it a prime choice for football fans.

First, the NFL Sunday Ticket. The pack lets you watch out-of-market NFL games, which local broadcast channels won't have. This is great for those who want to follow their favorite teams throughout the season.

Even if you're not a football fan, there are other sports channels. You get ESPNews, MLB Network, Tennis channel, and others not included in the ENTERTAINMENT package.

If you don't care about sports at all, don't worry - there are other channels too. Movie lovers will love the IFC and Sundance TV channels. For Lifestyle, there's the Travel Channel, Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN), and the Cooking Channel.

Here's a complete list of the channels included.

The CHOICE package is great for sports lovers with a budget. It's the first package which includes the NFL Sunday Ticket for free. That's the biggest value-driver of this package, especially if you're a football fan.

It doesn't end there, though. There's plenty of other sports content in the base package, such as ESPNews, Tennis channel, MLB, and SEC Network.

If sports aren't your thing, there's a lot of general-interest programming too. Even big households with different tastes in TV will likely find their favorite channel included.

There are the family and educational channels like Animal Planet, Discovery channel, History, and National Geographic. For entertainment, there's Nicktoons, Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN), Sundance TV, TV One, Fuse, and many others.

In short, the CHOICE package is a great midway package, one which isn't too hard on the wallet. The NFL Sunday Ticket alone is worth the price of the package. But even if you don't like sports, there's more general-interest channels, allowing a bit more surfing room. It's also great for families who don't want to spend too much on TV.
