If you prefer to talk to a live representative, you can call Capital One at 1-800-227-4825. You will be prompted to enter the last 4 digits of your credit card number and the last 4 digits of your Social Security number. The automated system then asks you the reason for your call. You can say a few keywords to be routed to the proper representative.

If you are located outside of the United States, call 1-804-934-2001. Please note that this is a collect call. You will need to tell the operator that your name is "Capital One Customer" in order to be connected to a representative.
