  I am a college student and I need a way to have access to money even when I did't physically have the cash itself so I decided to apply to a credit card. I already had a joint American Express Blue Cash with my mother but this credit card to be in my name. After tons of research I applied for the Discover Student More credit card in September 2010. Discover called me later that same day to verify my employment and congratulate me on being approved for the card. The customer service agent explained how my payments would work; how cash back bonuses work; how cash advances work; how my APR would affect my payments once the introductory APR was done; basically everything I needed to know to be a successful credit card owner.It's been 6 months since I got my card and I have yet to have any problems with Discover. I even just did a balance transfer a few weeks ago and they gave a 0% APR on it until Sept 2011. All in all, I really enjoy being part of the Discover family.
