Capital One Quicksilver Login Help and Customer Service Tips

Do you have a Capital One Quicksilver credit card? Learn the best ways to get help for all of your account needs.

Capital One Quicksilver offers a one-time bonus of $150 if you spend $500 on purchases within three months of account opening. This card earns 1.5% cash back on all purchases. There is a 0% intro APR on purchases and balance transfers for 15 months. After that, a variable APR, currently 14.74% to 24.74%. There is a 3% balance transfer fee on the amounts transferred within the first 15 months. There is no annual fee.

Logging Into Capital One Quicksilver

  1. Visit Capital One to sign into your account
  2. Enter your username and password
  3. Click "Sign in"

Forgot your Username or Password? Don't worry if you forgot your username or password—Capital One will help you retrieve them. First, you must provide them with your personal information so they can verify that it's you.

Start by clicking on "Forgot username or password." It's located directly under the "Sign in" button. In order to retrieve your username or password, you must provide:

  • Your full name
  • Social Security number
  • Birthdate

Finally, click on "Find me," and Capital One will walk you through the prompts to retrieve your credentials.

How to Make a Payment Online

Making a payment online with Capital One Quicksilver is simple.

  • Sign into your account at Capital One's website. This will bring you to your account overview
  • Click "Pay Bill," located in the middle of the page
  • A pop-up box will appear asking you how much you want to pay

Walk through the prompts until you have a confirmation code that your payment was successful.

You can reach a live representative at Capital One by calling 1-800-227-4825. The automated system will ask you to enter the last 4 digits of your credit card account number as well as the last 4 digits of your Social Security number.

You will then need to tell the automated system the reason for your call using keywords, such as:

  • "Pay my bill"
  • "Question about my account"
  • "Change my due date"

If the system doesn't understand what you ask, it may offer you suggestions to help you get to the right representative.

International Callers: If you are calling from outside of the United States, you'll need to call 1-804-934-2001. This is a collect call that will route you through to an operator. When you speak to the operator, your name is "Capital One Customer."

Opening a New Account with Capital One Quicksilver

It's easy to apply for a Capital One Venture credit card online.

The information you must provide includes:

  • Name, birthday, and Social Security number
  • Mailing address
  • Email address
  • Employment status and total annual income
  • The amount of your monthly mortgage payment
  • The type of assets you have (checking or savings)
  • How much money you spend on credit cards each month (optional)

You'll end the application by agreeing to the legal disclosures and reviewing your entered information.

Applying for a Capital One Quicksilver cards as a Capital One customer: If you are already a Capital One customer, you can click on "Have a Capital One account? Prefill an application." You will be prompted to sign into your account and then Capital One will pre-populate some of the information for you.

When you apply for the Capital One Quicksilver account online, you should have an answer quickly. If your account requires further review, though, you'll receive your answer in the mail in 7-10 business days.
