TD Ameritrade offers 24/7 customer service - both online and on the phone. But the best way to actually contact TD Ameritrade may surprise you. Read on.

Overview

How Customer Service Stacks Up

If there's one aspect that sets TD Ameritrade apart from the competition, it's the level of customer service. Not only can you log into your account 24/7, but you can reach a live representative any time of day or night as well. The agents reportedly answer the calls quickly, and have knowledgeable answers.

Calling customer service isn't the only available option either. TD Ameritrade offers customer service via email, Facebook Messenger, text message and via postal mail. With the exception of postal mail, these options also reportedly provide quick turnaround times for clients.

23 Reasons Why You Should Invest in Stocks

Despite the economy's ups and downs, the stock market has consistently proven to be a good place to invest your disposable cash and save for your future (as long as you can withstand the ups and downs and plan for the long term). The popularity of online brokerages attests to the demand for stock accessibility in an increasingly DIY society.

Study: Best Online Brokers for the Money - TradeKing vs TD Ameritrade vs Fidelity

When looking for the best online broker, it's easy to become frustrated. It's tough to put your trust in those kinds of things, especially when your financial future is on the line.

Study: Best Stock Broker for Penny Stocks

The name "penny stock" can be misleading. To the untrained investment ear, it sounds like an easy trading gig with little at stake. However, nothing can be further from the truth, as it's a very volatile market that should be researched thoroughly before trading, especially by novices. It's more for seasoned traders who understand the pitfalls and the risk involved; it takes some finesse to trade in this arena — and be profitable at it.

Study: Best Online Stock Broker for College Students

    Study: Best Stock Broker App

Staying on top of your investments no longer handcuffs you to a desktop computer and an occasional peek into how your funds are performing. With mobile apps, you have no excuse for not knowing how the overall market is doing or whether your own investments are tanking. The bad news is this can give you even more reasons to keep checking your phone (not that you needed any more reasons). But the good news is, the right app may make you a smarter, more effective investor.
